Maras and Moray Half Day

Cusco — Maras – Moray — Cusco

We will pick you up at the agreed upon point and time, then we will go to the archaeological remains of Moray, which are approximately 2 hours away, stopping 30 minutes before, in the village of Chinchero to buy the last thing you need for the day, or to buy a snack for the route.

Later we will go to the archaeological remains of Moray, famous building known for being an acclimatization center with concentric terraces of great archaeological and visual attraction, which we will visit with our experienced guide.

After that we will go to the salt mines of the Maras town where we will be able to appreciate the impressive salt mines from which this special product is extracted, as well as to enjoy its so particular landscape.

After a short stop in the colonial town of Maras, we will return to Cusco to finish our tour. After our transportation takes us to the pick-up point, we will finish the tour.

Guides

All our guides are highly qualified and academically trained to carry out this task. They are trained in culture, archaeology, anthropology, ecology, as well as in different specialties to fully cover the expectations of the visitor.

Permits and Entrances

As soon as the deposit and reservation have been made, the respective tickets will be purchased and the date and time of the visit will be confirmed, as these tickets are personal and non-transferable. In case you decide to buy these tickets personally, you must indicate this to the sales staff, either via web or in person, in order to take the respective precautions.

Transport

Transport is guaranteed from the point of collection to the destination and return, as well as the necessary security measures to cover your expectations according to the health situation.

Food

Food is not included as it is not necessary, since the tour takes half, however, if requested, it can be included within the tour, as it is a tour that demands the whole day, lunch can be included in a certified restaurant where you can enjoy a buffet meal with typical dishes of the region and the highest quality.
